Our Story
How LaxLnk Started

LaxLnk started because Mary was tired of running her clinics out of Google Sheets.
From competing at the national championship level to coaching the next generation, she experienced firsthand what the lacrosse community was missing — one platform built for all of it.
So she built it.
Today, LaxLnk is where the lacrosse community comes together — players building recruiting profiles, coaches discovering talent, teams sharing content, fans following live scores. One sport. One place.

“When Mary brought this idea to me, I knew right away there was a place for it in the world of women’s lacrosse. I’m excited to build LaxLnk together, and impact as many aspiring athletes as we possibly can. The group of coaches that Mary has assembled is the best of the best in the nation, and I’m looking forward to telling their stories!”

Mary Schumar
Founder & Head of Product Design
Mary Schumar spent a decade as both a lacrosse player and coach before channeling that experience into something bigger. With a background in mechanical engineering and information technology, she built LaxLnk — a platform that brings the entire lacrosse community together in one place.
"After ten years as both a player and a coach, I kept running into the same problem — there was no single place to showcase your skills or run your lacrosse business. I knew there had to be something better. That gap is what inspired me to build LaxLnk: a platform that brings everyone together in one place and helps grow the game we all love."
